SHOES FOR THE SLIGHTLY LARGER FOOT

    Christian Louboutin

Where to buy stylish everyday shoes is a challenge if you have feet slightly larger than the average women’s size. I needed to find somewhere that sold shoes in a UK 9-10 (EU 44-45). This used to leave me with a limited choice, as most shoe companies go up to a UK 8 (EU 42).

My options seemed to consist of either “pole dancer” style shoes that are widely available from alternative or transvestite specialist sites, or to break my toes and try and squeeze in to a size 8. Neither of those options appealed. If I wanted to avoid looking like an erotic dancer with bound toes, I had to find some other options. Below are some links to on-line sites that make shoes for Women that require a larger size.

    La Redoute

A great site for Shoes, clothes and accessories. They stock shoes up to a UK 12 (EU 47)

I am thinking of ordering these for this winter. Great with jeans, chino’s or cigarette trousers.

    Suede Lace-Up Boots

    Long Tall Sally

Again, a good range of shoes, plus tall clothing and accessories.

    Suede Loafer

    Tall Girls

Their collection is simple, and wearable. Nothing cutting edge, but they stock a really good range from flats to boots.

    Lou Lou Shoes

A store offering a very good range of styles, covering all types of footwear.

     Veneto

    After 8 Shoes

Stylish site, good range with many on trend options, especially the casual collection.

    Ana Blue

    Katie Long Shoes

Again, a good range to choose from. The flats are really strong as are the heels.

    ASOS

A really good option for shoes UK size 9 and under. Great styles that are up to date with the fashion trends. They are also well priced. The style featured below is only £30.

You can also find some really good options on e-bay and Amazon. It can be hit and miss, but well worth a look.
