Work, at last !!!

    Quick update, Finally got work at a hospital in Manchester, I seem to have fit in really well, accepted really well in the office by the girls and even having doors opened for me by the guys" so cool!.

    Its been so hard being unemployed and trying to find work, having a couple of things against me that is, One being my age and the other being TG, but there are some places that do accept us and Ive found one of them, took me over a year but I'm here  and I'm here to stay!.

    the pay is not bad and theres lots of walking involved but thats cool I love walking and its great exersise for me, theres also interacting with the general public and lots of detective work finding records so every day is a new challange, a good one that is, So anyone else thats out there searching, don't dispair , if I can get a job in the gender I was supposed to be then theres hope for us all.

  • Deleted Member I try (Liz), but Ive had a lot of help thanks to a Manchester company that helps people back into work, Pinnacle people, they are real angels, I had virtually give up, even on myself, but they pulled me back, got me interested and "shoe horned"...  more
