8 weeks post op. Seems like forever
Well all the stitches have now dissolved out, that’s a relief because they were causing some discomfort
So until yesterday I was generally pain free , then I decided to wear skinny jeans, big mistake.
I moved to quickly and rubbed myself the wrong way so to speak. Now in pain , particularly in the toilet department. Hopefully that will naturally sort itself out over the next few days. If not a phone call to Brighton will be necessary
Dilation has now gone from 3 to 2 times a day , which means I get an hour a day of my life back.
I want to start running get again but that’s going to be at least a month away , but I am going to go swimming for the first time in 30 years.
I am getting out the house for a couple of hours at a time , both driving and on the buses, although yesterday I was exhausted after clothes shopping and a beer at lunchtime. So much so , I am just going to relax around the house for the next few days to recover
But the good news is I am now the owner of my first posh frock.
I will be there for the Stout and Porter pub crawl , although it might be shorter for me than originally hoped for.
I got a return trip to Brighton in a couple of weeks to get my first foo foo MOT.
Hopefully that will give me the all clear to step up the exercise.
Thanks to everyone I have bumped into in the last few weeks, you all help me to keep sane .
