I now have had 2 meetings with HR and my immediate boss,things are moving on nicely,the Unions have been told and are fully supportive,the toilet issue is in the process of being solved,I get to use the girls toilets as I should,but they are also creating gender neutral toilets!!
Today i met up with the Global Diversity and Inclusion Consultant and the lead of PRISM,(PRISM is the steering group my company has set up to promote diversity and inclusion with respect to LGBT).That meeting lasted 90 mins with so many positives coming out that it makes me really emotional.Because I am so public they want me to help others in similar positions to guide or prove that the company is a really great place to be who you are.
Deed poll has been done,the name change is in couple of weeks,the official T day will be the 1st day of the new year
