Transtastic Update and Sparkle and TINT

  So i'm sat in a cafe is Willesden, North London - it's great to be able to get Transtastic on my mobile phone. How cool do I feel? Well a little cooler today even though the sun is shining - as i'm hoping the server issues we had seems to be resolving themselves after getting some good advice. Very much like make-up LOL less is more - and i'm hoping you see an improvement today.
  
  I can't wait till I need to expand the server going forward - the technology behind Transtastic is more scalable that TINT - I was just hoping not to do it so soon.
  
  I've also learnt how to do a few more things technically too which is great so I'm feeling happier with my choice in platform (not shoes).
  
  Nicky Miniskirt and Pauline Smith have also started to moderate the site - the rules are fairly simple and clear. Anything (legal) goes, but no rude stuff on the home page or profile images- and keep anything 'rude' to private groups and messages/adult chat. Thank you both for doing that role Miss Miniskirt and Miss Smith.
  
  So TINT - my intention is to bring the current site to a close towards the end of April 2011 - at which point the domain will point here at Transtastic. I know that will be disappointing to a number of you, and it will be for me - but I know it is the right thing to do - and I am confident you will all make Transtastic even better than TINT ever was.
  
  I'll be adding a few more features here too - such as the ability to make a private note against profiles (thanks Viggy for that one), a Reputation measure on online message replies (another suggestion), and I'll also enable a newletter to keep you informed of changes to the site. Don't forget you can always tell me what you'd like to see - and I will try and add or come back with that I can/can't do.
  
  It's great to see more groups being made - keep them coming...
  
  I'm also spending more time on Sparkle 2011 - i've got the Stalls and Guide again this year. So if you have a business that could benefit from Sparkle the please check out the Business Opportunities on the Sparkle.org.uk website - and don't forget to tell people that do.
  
  Finally, I promised a 1TB harddrive as a prize draw to people that invite their friends- and I have quite a few people on the list. But I'll be closing this when Transtastic reaches 1,000 members so get inviting or you will miss the chance to be in with a chance.
